For Readers Only Book Club
For Readers Only Book Club was founded by our President Neisha Holloman and is located in Morrow, Georgia It was in the thought process for many years, but offically began on October 4, 2010. Our first meeting was held on the patio of Anna Cunningham, the Chairperson for the Christian Chapter. At our first meeting we had six ladies to sign up for membership, they were Nikeya Cunningham, Jameika Lumbus, Andreanda Armour, Crystal Dodson, Traveka Phillips and Nicole Hammonds.
Our mission is too broaden our horizon and embrace the culture around us through fellowship, food and sharing good books. Keeping up with the lastest books and meeting the writers who wrote them. We want to do many things in our community, we would like to do so much that our legacy will remain in the hearts and minds of the people even after the founder and the original members are long gone.
Our activities consist of our monthly meeting on the first Saturday, attending book signings, lunches, traveling and many other things that may be happening in the community.
After opening our doors with the Urban Chapter, we found out that we had many others interested in joining but had a different genre of books. Because of that in the upcoming year will begin our Christian Chapter and our Youth Chapter. For Readers Only has a vision far beyond just reading, we want to enhance the educational skills of the young and the old.
With that being said......
"Look beyond peoples word, read it for yourself"
